Au revoir, Djoumin?

AFF

Colin Lippiatt is quoted on the back page of the St Albans Observer to the effect that its 60:40 against Lewes extending the loan of Djoumin Sangare, despite constant negotiations, 24 hours per day, day and night, over the past week or so with his opposite number at Lewes, someoneorother King. [steve? Jimmy?]

That will be very disappointing as t'garcon has done very well in the yeller & blue making a formidable partnership with Patrick Ada.

If its to be 'au revoir', puis aussi 'merci et bon chance' de moi.

I fear that you have the wrong chap, HM.

If Colin Lippiatt can't sort things out with Lewes, then I'm sure that I have no influence in the matter, HM.

[Mind you. I was once tempted to make a bid for Ryan Moran when he was transfer listed and I would then have 'rented' him back to the club if ever they were looking for a promising centre-back. I don't think that finance is a problem on this occasion, however. Djoumin has made the very foolish mistake of playing rather well during the current loan period and that has not escaped the attention of the powers that be at The Dripping Pan.]

Rob the Saint said

1) The Lewes manager was at Hayes to check on the progress of Sangare and will do doubt have been impressed with what he saw.

Not strictly true. I heard Steve King was down the road at the Bognor game last Saturday and it was Stuart Cash that was at Hayes, though nobody seems to have seen him either.

Haven't we signed some fellow from Hayes?

Another bro I've been informed, thats good, I reckon most the oppersition strikers are just scared of our centre backs hence all the clean sheets.

Jimmy gave us the thumbs up on Saturday so he obviously enjoys it here, lets hope he goes back to Lewes and demands a move to the mighty saints
