Where is the drum!!

I have not yet seen it!!

Do not get me wrong I am not a mean bugger, but I coughed up a few quid, when it was said a couple of quid was needed to buy a drum on ebay, I was told we were short of cash and needed to buy one.

I would like to see it, being used!! Even though I am only a cardboard cut out trying to do me bit.

If it needs some work and there is not enough money for a new skin let me know how much it will cost and I will do what I can to help.

There are a few of us cardboard cut outs, who while not likely to scream and shout with you are happy to sling a couple of quid towards what you need as far as equipment is concerned.

I have just booked a big BASE drum in for a new skin with the intention of dropping it off as an addition to the yellow army's ensemble. I thought that is what you want, now I wonder will it ever get used???

or should I just leave it??

Good News!! I rang the shop today and I can pick the drum up on Friday, so we're all set.

Definitaly don't leave the bass MOB, the more noise the better. Just a bit troublesome lugging a bloody great drum to Southend and back on the train, took me a while to find the right day. I know your efforts are appreciated by all the Yellow Army.

Well I have just picked up the base drum it has a massive hole in it, but it is a massive drum.

It is a drum I think that was part of a kit, I am going to find out if it can be converted into a drum that can be carried like the ones in the parade. with a skin either side worn on a harness at chest height. The only thing is it is big and I mean big.

The shop I used in Chelmsford suggest I go to a proper drum shop as this is a general music instrument shop, where is the sarfend one.

The one I went to was called Professional Music Technology. It's in Queens Road in the town centre, turn down by the post office, past HMV and keep going, it's on your right. The place is amazing, the bottom floor has hundreds of guitars and amplifyers of all shapes and sizes, and the top floor is the "House of Drums". They were really helpful and it only set me back £16, well worth it.

As for the size of the drum, Mark finishes stewarding before kick off.....
