Sign of a Margate Fan?

A good job for you jkm if you have the time. Organise some new clean songs(clean because of the amount of young kids and mothers in the last few crowds),Organise the singers,See if you can perhaps use the club house for rehearsals. Organise a couple or more drummers for when the voices go quiet,give the place a beat. make the place intimidating for the opposition but fair.

blueblood, I would write some songs, but to be plainly honest Im no songwriter, especially considering Im a very new fan. This is really something for the more established fans to do ie the current crop of singers. They are the ones who stand on the terraces year in year out singing these songs. They should be the ones writing them. As long as In know what the lyrics are Ill be fine with them.

 

In any case Im still working on learning the current songs...Ive nearly got them all nailed though.

Ok, You don,t write them but you could organise,thats what is missing. Be positive use your talent.It is a chance to become more involved.

Ill have a go at writing a few. Im sure between us all we can come up with some new ones. As has been said many times before by numerous other people here, this is a team effort so any help by others is most welcome.

 

I know we have the 2 already made songs...I will survive and Amarillo ones. Perhaps they could be used in some way or another? Of course if its OK with the authors or the songs! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
