Lee Boylan Out for Four to Six Weeks....

I think we are in a better position this season. Last season there was no one anywhere near good enough to emulate Lee Boylan, but this season we are somewhat better off than last. Ibe and Tait, I am sure will score goals, not as prolific as Lee I know but a better fill in than last term. Sorry Yellow Bungle I dont agree regarding Ollie.

A disaster, looked what happened last season when he was out.
Looks like the best we can do is too stay up this season

Sounds like you've written us off already. Have some faith in the lads. Blimey if we are doubting them then we might as well go and support the likes of Chelski or someone.
We will keep fighting and improving as the season progresses and YA will be behind them regardless of who scores the goals. Although Lee is our top scorer and a bloody good player he is not indispensable. Others will feel the gap. Just give em a chance.

There a few things you can count on.

1. We will not be relegated.

2. Yellow Bungle is Ollies nan and will therefore slag everyone off!!! except Ollie.

3. This season will be [****!!****] hard.

4. I will moan!!

5. you will moan!!!!!!

6. In the end Kingy and the boys will make it work.

7. Forget all of the above, we will all be there on Saturday.

Better players? BETTER PLAYERS? But none of 'em can score! Again we're going to miss Ollie.

After seeing Ibe and Tait link up I think they are much more suited to each others style of play, and I reckon as a partnership will score plenty!

Yep, I feel we have better players and in some weird way we have more depth this season. Bimson is a class act, Ibe, Tait and from what others have said Bunce looks a good aquisition. We are even arguing over who should go in goal. Individually we have some very good players in the squad. Not championship winning - but what are you expecting this year??

It annoys me when oppo teams call us a one player team. Agree that Lee's injury last season compounded a difficult season - but what about our defence and midfield last season?? They contributed to a difficult season as well.

I have not written off the partnership of Tait and Ibe yet. Last season we didn't have good striking options on the bench when Lee got injured - I even witnessed Midgely put up front as a striker last season in one away game.

Ollie has gone - he helped create and scored some vital goals last year - but he ain't here now. If your saying we are not creating opportunities then I would argue that Duffy is playing far better than last year and is getting the ball across and so is Keeling and Clarke. If your argunig that we are not seeing enough goals from a more central midfield ie Mints and Sedgemore then I agree with you - it seems the one area where we lack some alternatives with only Mario springing to mind.

I have not written the boys off - we've only played half a dozen games. If we were not so naieve and killed the games off against G&N, Daggers possibly and Kidderminster we wouldn't be raising these issues.

Take a leaf out of Gravesend & Northfleets book - crap start but are plugging away and getting some vital points. Thats what we need to do - just keep plugging away. I know its not a guaranteed 3 points on Saturday but a good win at basement Crawley will get us back on track.
