Tonight-Northern Ireland v England

Recommended Posts

Paul Robinson has been the only decent player in the last three matches. Lampard, Beckham, Gerrard, Rooney don't look match-fit to me and don't seem to know what they're meant to be doing. Luke Young (who?) and Wright-Philips aren't England material. Ferdinand and Carragher are OK but we should be putting out a better side than that. It's just a shambles and I can't see us beating Austria, let alone Poland.

What time does the cricket start?

This is slightly different though, as it's a UK-based match. Premiership vs Championship, if you like.

And we all know that Championship teams rarely lose 0-3 or 0-4 in the FA Cup to Premier sides.

Well, I was right in that it was very much a 'British'-type game, although I didn't think we'd be that bad.

You got to laugh really!!

I think Robinson was the only one who came out with any credit, wasn't he?

How that dreadlocked prick thinks he's worth £125k a week is beyond me. He should never play for England again, the [****!!****].

Austria shouldn't pose too many problems, but Poland aren't to be sniffed it.

If it wasn't for you going to Germany next summer, I'd want England to fail to qualify. Might be the dose of reality these [****!!****] need.

I find it very difficult to get behind the national side these days, when there are 4-5 players in the starting XI that I detest and detest and detest.

Yeah, I think we should beat Poland at home though. Having said that we should beat Northern Ireland away.

Out of last night I thought Carragher played well, and at least Joe Cole tried to get involved when he came on.

Beckham showed a bit of passion but apart from that none of the others even wanted to be there and put in no effort.

I don't know how much pressure they get put on them by their clubs, but if that was me playing for England I'd be putting in 110% every time.

Quite right too.

I would say there is a huge amount of pressure from the clubs, purely because of the amount of wages they pay them.

We've got a Chelsea fan here at work, and he wants to see Sven sacked and Mourinho instated as England manager. Wouldn't neccessarily disagree with that.

Only watched the second half last night, but I thought England were poor. But having said that, it was no different to watching Spurs stutter at home to Forest last season, or the Exeter/Man Utd match.

I think it is arrogant of us, as supporters of the 'better' sides, to expect us to go out and thrash these smaller teams - doesn't really happen any more.

Paul Robinson played well though didn't he? The way he jumped out of the way of the shot that went in, it was poetry in motion. Has he had ballet training?

At least his jersey didn't get any mud on it.

What a halfpint of piss.

Name an english keeper that would have saved it?
or better still a jock one?
Your talking out of your [****!!****] Mr Collins

Robinson readjusts himself from guarding the near post, throws himself in the air to meet the ball and then...
he twists his body clockwise midair
MISJUDING SPECTACUARLY
as the ball spins off his gloves and through the space where his body should have been.

Hey Mr angry, we all know that if Daid James hadn't been a shambles in Denmark he'd've been Englands number one.

Robinson was there last night as 'least worst'. The Best of course is in the Championship - Mr Green. (Mr Green also plays in the same league as most of the players in the Northern Ireland squad)

So Robinson as some not this, not that bit of makepiece goalkeeper let the whole nation down,

And you are angry at my piece?

I'm laughing at you as my team, the XI of the British Antarctic Regions have not lost a game yet.

You should stick to the highland games my friend,Because you know [****!!****] all about football.

I will treat your comments regarding Paul Robinson with a pinch of salt seeing as they came from someone from the nation that gave us that all time goalkeeping great Alan Rough.

Keep taking the pills!!

Alan Rough came from the British Antarctic Territories?

Well I never.
