He's got quite an impressive CV by all accounts, but I can't claim to have ever heard of him.

 

Mates with Wenger, but we won't hold that against him as Sir El Tel and Gooner George were, of course, best mates.

* Played a role in Arsenal signing Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Robert van Persie

 

* After seven seasons as Arsenal's European scout became technical director at St Etienne last season

 

 

Sounds like he has a good CV. Hope he can get on okay with Jol.
