Had no problems with Chelmsford fans until i read bollox like that, laughing at our defeat, and telling each other not to spend money at our gaff. Just though id reciprocate a bit.

 

Got no problem with you Kev, but some of your fellow fans are truly knobs, and i cant wait til they get it chucked back in their faces.

I'm fine, ta - poor result last night but it's done and dusted...so on to the Cup...

 

Standard of officials gettin to me...worst yet by a long distance so far this season...last nights ref should have worn a Staines shirt... never up with play, did't communicate with the linos..and them idiots were flagging away like fly swatters

all night! May not always affect a scoreline but sure as hell ruins a game as a viewing spectacle..

 

Maldon any good or just one of them nights for your lot ? Had em down as cert relegation fodder... still don't think they'll survive..

Standard of officials getting to ya? Well, I can't agree with you more there. It's a problem. Perhaps we should get the home team to provide the officials, like at school. At least you know you'll get a consistant bias during the season.

 

Maldon...? Nope, it's toss up who is worse, you or them (no disrespect). Go at 'em, run for 90 minutes and they'll start to puff at 75 minutes. Just watch their no.7. Has a habit of going into the keeper after the ball has gone. Did it twice last night. Mr. Parker will give you a run though. Fast and dangerous. They're my tip for the drop.

Out of the two I'd say Maldon had more about them. Parker is quality and he's ably backed up by Ansell. Parratt & Howard can still do it sporadically and but will wilt towards the end. Maldon's Whelpdale looked quite good as well. Unlike Chelmsford I think Maldon will score goals but ship a shed load in. Chelmsford will just ship a shed load in. It's a nice DROP of Claret for me.

Lets be honest, going to watch a football match purely cos you want a team to lose is a bit pathetic!

 

Especially when your team is playing elsewhere, and staines aint exactly a million miles away

No I was not laughing, "I was trying to hide the big grin from my face" ( I've worked along side a Billericay supporter for the last 17 years, I think I can affored a grin now & again)

At the end of the day we will never be able to change the decisions made by the referee, his decision in sending of Mel Capleton (which I thought was correct) changed the whole game. I thought Ricay in the circumstances played very well, along with Maldon who I thought played well above their current position in the league. All the best for the rest of the season.
