Todays Match

Very lucky to hang on in the end - but a wins a win and 3 more points. First half we played extremely well, some good passing moves and crosses being made compared to Redbridge who looked dire.

2nd half it seemed as if the teams had swapped places! We were shocking and it looked as if we were going to come away from the match with less than the 3 points we deserved from the first half.

Almost a story of 'how to throw away three points against a team who clearly have never played together before' tonight. Decent first half - we managed to get a few shots away (especially from outside the box, which has been lacking this season) and most importantly, scored three. But the defending at times left a lot to be desired against a team who will surely be lucky to avoid the drop. In a nutshell, our boys just need to clear the ball when it needs to be cleared.

Spot on Matt and Tom. First half we played very well and Leon was excellent down the left putting in some great crosses. Literally none of the opposition knew each other and there was no really calling going on. Second half we did not really turn out but were not hugely threatened. Concerning that both their goals came on the break again.

Hodges was immense and was MOTM by a mile (Leon tired towards the end).

I thought Redbridge were pretty poor and until we stop giving away silly goals we will continue to struggle to beat teams no matter how good or poor they are.

First goal was a mistake by Avery (not for the first time) - I'm still to be convinced that he's good enough.

Thought Wilko & Mets had quite poor games for them and offered little protection for the defence.

The one person to shine like a beacon was Glen Harris - superb throughout and easily man of the match.
