i was actually talking to kingy when the famous "battle of canvey island" commenced so i quickly made my excuses to jeff and left to join my fellow urchins!

I think the first two goals were scored in a matter of two minutes of each other, then we scored the winner in stoppage time.

 

Iffy penalty was the winning goal. Our equaliser was a sublime goal from Lee.

yeah that was quality...it was a good day out as it goes and the handbags was PR'd up to unrecognisable levels...good game...good fun but as I said to Yellow...fck that...never forget....we owe 'em one... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I don't think everybody got slung out because I remember the likes of Mala, Bridge etc still drinking until 6pm.

they chucked us out then the chavs started throwing pennies at our coaches!!

Yeah I think Urchin Boy and his lot got thrown out. Atmosphere did turn rather ugly that day.

Yellows right ESU...in fact I actually don't think anyone got thrown out of the ground...more a case of being evicted from the bar (me included). <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />...it got a bit john wayneish in there for a few mins but soon calmed down and kingy bought everyone a drink...there were a few chavs outside but again kingy's heavies dealt with them quickly.....the coin throwing at the coach was just kids...

 

decent people all told and as I have said already...I have a high regard for JK.

Mostly high spirits and a few raised words. Think I got caught up in it a little but soon calmed down and everybody was fine.

 

That was one weird day though!!
