Searlo, you must get up awfully early or go to bed really really late to be posting messages at 5.30 in the morning!! Why you should think I would be interested in the fact that one or two lovely ladies wear the fetching grey I don't know. You won't find me wearing one, it's just not my colour!!!

Didn't I tell you I am a vampire Halifax Lass? Serioudly I#d already been up for an hour when I posted that. I work from home so I just get up when I wake up.

I didn't think you'd be the slightest interested in the lovely ladies in grey. Just trying to make you jealous.....

Ciao

So, how did we play then Halifax Lass?

I see your mob have sneaked in front of us in the table. Think I might have to come up for the game in a few weeks. Just look out for the Brad Pitt look alike.

Not the jealous type? You will be......lol

Searlo, do you realise that it's only you and I using this thread? Anyway do you really expect me to reply when you've ignored me all weekend?!

As for the game - well I think enough has been written about it, if not on here certainly on the Chester site. Heard quite a few comments at the game from Chester fans about No 18 (Liam) and also about Sodje. Their No 3 was a dirty player. Strange ref - let some bad fouls go with just a handshake but then bookings and sending off when not absolutely necessary. Don't know if I will make the Halifax game - got relatives staying over that weekend and they may not want me to go.

Ciao <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smilie_switch.gif" alt="" />

Alone Indoors - I'm pleased if we have brightened your day. Myself I'm not the domestic type at all, there are far more exciting things in life than ironing and cooking. Well that's my philosophy on life and I'm sticking to it (only cos it gets me out of doing any housework)!!! Unfortunately it looks as if there will be no more chapters for you to read as searlo appears to have disappeared from my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apologies Halifax Lass, I missed your first post. As for ignoring you all weekend, apologies for that too. I don't usually log on after Saturday morning till Monday. Shame you may not be able to make the game. I think you should bring your relatives with you.

Ciao for now (I really must learn some more Italian)

Apologies accepted on all counts. "alone indoors" will be glad there's another episode to read!! As for the Halifax game-some of my relatives will definitely be there but whether they will want me with them is another matter. You know what some of the old ones are like, they can be dead grumpy and bad tempered!!

By the way what's with the Elvis bit?

buona notte <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wavey.gif" alt="" />

Dearest Halifaxette,

I am curious, are you a pints of real ale and pork scratchings kind of Lass or more your 'Blue Nun' and prawn cocktail flavoured crisps type of Lady ?

I really enjoy reading your column on here, much better than the

'Peterborough' column in the 'Times' and 'Dear Deirdre' in the 'Sun'.

Sincerely yours

I'm flattered that your grace (or is it my lord) should be interested in my preferences. Halifaxette doesn't really suit me though. I lurv Italian and French food with a full bodied red wine, however I am quite at home drinking Speckled Hen, Black Sheep, etc and eating fish and chips out of the paper.

Ahhh Elvis. Well I'm a bit of a fan although I can just about remember the great man dying. On top of that we had a bit of a party at the club bar to celebrate winning the Ryman last year. Unfortunately, I had another party to go to which was a 70's thing. With no other option available, I dropped my fancy dress off in the pub next to the ground, went to the match, got changed and turned up in the club bar in full Elvis regalia to be greated with cries of "Elvis give us a song" etc.

Could you not go the game incognito like you did on Sunday?

Funny you mention red wine by the way as I'm sipping a glass of chianti at this very moment!
