Team for Saturday

Simon BTFC

Recommended Posts

Bit bored without any football to watch so what team would you pick for Saturday against Kingstonian? - assuming everybody is fit. Would you put Adedeji straight into the team? Who to play up front?

My team would be - 4-4-2 formation

JJ

McDonald - Penn - Moore - Kerrigan

M.Graham - Willo - Brennan - R.Graham

Fewings - Essandoh

Subs

Campbell

Adedeji

Carthy

Fay (gk)

Wallace

I think there may be a case for giving Fewings a rest as he took a bit of a pounding against Yeading and probably wasn't fully fit to start with. If he's unavailable play Campbell up front and bring Henty on to the bench.

you have to say looking at those squads the 16 looks good "strength in depth" which has been a recent buzz phrase.

i would go with simon s squad to start with as i assume adedeji hasnt been playing too much lately id so stick him on the bench n make sure mark g is on the opposite side to the dugout!! think/hope our brief flirtation with 3 at the back is over and we play 4-4-2.

finally no one has mentioned that this will be a v tough game

agst kingstonian..dont think they have lost yet this season....

I'm guessing that JJ is Jerome John. Good to see him playing (and well by all accounts) as he was a part of our championship season - just hope he doesn't have one of his best games on Sat! As for Paul Fewings, well, lets just say that he had a brief spell with us (when he still had a decent reputation for being good)...

Looking forward to your visit - should be a good game between two sides who are doing well at the moment.

To say that JJ is playing well is something of an understatement. 5 goals conceded in 13 games speaks for itself! Fewings has done well also this season, 3 goals so far I think and he's missed a few games through injury. Looking forward to Saturday as was unable to make it to kingstonian last season, so it's another new ground to cross of the list!

Hopefully you'll be made to feel very welcome (and hopefully whilst we take some points from you!), though just beware of the small things at Kingsmeadow that can only be K's... Ignore the big 'away supporters' entrance as everyone on the terraces goes through the home turnstiles (through the clubhouse for the main stand). There will be a large bar open for all, and any programme collectors will find those in an outside hut separate to the club shop. For any more info just visit our site:

I also remember from last year that it was a bit of a sod to park if you weren't there early. The car park is quite large but seemed to be reserved for "players' families that may turn up"!! Also another £8.00 ground (or at least it was last year).
