Striker Bertie Brayley joined Heybridge Swifts on a month's loan from Canvey Island in August 2003 to partner KK Opara. In January 2004, he joined Hornchurch for a small fee.

Second Half just started. Half-Time score still Worthing 0 Margate 1.

 

Players doing o.k, playing well as a TEAM. Game pretty even but Margate just shading it on points and deserve to be in front. Showing plenty of aggression,though just starting to lose it slightly in midfield. Green has been roasted a couple of times down his wing. Mitten doing fine.First 25 minutes in first half Margate dominated then second 25 minutes Worthing took over,though without looking too threatening. Second half on the go and will keep you posted with any further develpoments.

I only saw him play one and a half games but seemed a very busy player, what he lacks in quality he makes up for in work rate.

 

He seemed to me a better midfielder than forward, i know we Shots fans have mixed opinions about him, I personally think he would have been a decent squad player for us had he stayed longer.

Midfield overun 2nd half.

Margate had NO shots in second half.Mitten makes a stunning injury time save.

Kola badly injured it seems today plus other injuries to other players.

Well done CK on two excellent signings. Bertie Brayley is a proven goalscorer and will put himself about up front. I don't want to curse him but possibly another Phil Collins! Certainly seems to have total committment. Remy is another quality player at this level. Excellent news.
