Not a brilliant performance but the job was done and we have now finally won at home after 6 months of trying. Okay 3 of those months count as the summer and it's not as bad as it sounds as it's only about five games but still it was nice to win.

 

Didn't play well at all today and that is probably the worst we have played at home all season but then out of the other two we deserved more than what we got so alls fair in love and war.

 

Couldn't believe we didn't get the penalty just before their goal. What was going on there ref? Then straight away they went up the other end and scored, so in effect that was two goals the ref cost us. As Mike Fleet would say "that is perfetic".

 

Anyway 10 points from a possible 12 and undefeated since Grays, I've decided that my banner isn't big enough to fit Daish Out so I may so I may have to revert to Daish In!

Charlie and Manny were brought off as a precaution, according to the NLP report, and should be fine for Scarborough.

Nice to note that, despite our worries about a lack of height up front, three of our goals in the last two matches have come from headers from crosses, thus allowing us to bypass the problem a little (for the moment, anyway).

They don't normally show things like this (and certinely not replays so make sure you get it first time) but seeing how it just before Southports goal we maybe lucky enough to see it.

It doesn't need clearing up, it wasn't a penalty because the ref didn't give it, whatever the tv might show it won't change.

 

Personally I thought it looked like ball to hand but sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't....although funnily enough when they happen outside the area the ref always blows straight away. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

10 points from 6 games ain't a bad return, and to be fair its more than I expected .

 

Thought we totally deserved the win yesterday, just wish we could have taken another one of the many chances we created, it would have made the last minutes a bit easier on the nerves.

 

Lets spread the gospel that the Fleet are back in business, and persuade as many as we can to jump on the Fleet bandwagon.

Thought the guy moved his arm towards the ball personally - but it is indeed irrelevant as the ref said nota penalty.Anyway,more concerning was Proths going missing without any cover.

That hand ball happen right in front of me and was as certain a deliberate hand ball as you will see this season! Even the camera man in front of us said it was and he had a shot of it!
