I'm the most optimistic I've been all season and hoping for a comfortable win. For the lineup I'd have to stay stick to what we've had for the last couple of games as it seems that the teams gelling a bit. Personally I think we might have a low attendance though. Early kickoff might put ppl off if they're working or something. And theres obviously not gonna be many Southport fans.

Will agree with line-up as used for Woking game. Should be an easy (ish) match for us to pull maximum points, that said, I must'nt get complacent..!

About 800 in attendance I think, probably about ten of their fans? Won't be segregated but can anyone confirm for sure? We should win about 3-0 but lets not get complacent.

Did enjoy our trip to Haig Avenue and looking forward for a chance to visit probably the widest beach in the UK again the season.

 

 

In regards to the crowd, there will be a few more of my contingent this week with no premiership games, so you never know a 4 figure attendance could be possible.

Lets all get out there and sell the Fleet to all and sundry.

I'm glad to see the Sandgrounders back in the Conf too: I lived there for a couple of years (mid 90s) and used the Haig to keep me from non-league cold turkey whilst away from Stonebridge Road. Well worth a weekend away.

Wasn't it Jacko that scored for us after we went 1-0 down, had Skins sent off, feeling like another loss durig a bad run, then utter jubilation as he scored in front of us towards the end of the match. Oh and the burger bar was a lousy caravan rented off Jeff King that lent to one side.

True: they were in the top four for the early months, but when we went up there in February they'd not won for three months and had just instilled a new manager (to no avail)

I think they only took something like 7 points from that game until the end of the season...

I seem to remember a Southport fan moaning that they didn't deserve to go down as the only time they were in a relegation spot was at 5:00 on the last day of the season, the side that deserved to go do down was Gravesend (despite the fact that we hadn't occupied a relegation spot at anytime throughout that season).

I'm not quite as confident as most other people on our chances tomorrow. I think that we should win, but given some of Southport's results this season, it could be quite a close game. I think we'll win by a goal...

I agree Darren, it should be a very close game. Although, they haven't won away, yet. And we haven't won at home. Form is exactly same, too. LLWDW.

It was amazing how they just appeared to stop playing at Xmas .
