Best F A Cup 2nd Qualifying Years.

In response to numerous requests, the best years for clubs going through to the 2nd Qualifying were, once again, 1998/1999, when Great Wakering Rovers and Basildon United were the only two of five to win their 1st Round ties. Basildon Utd beat Barkingside 4-2 on penalties after 2-2 and 3-3 draws. GWR lost out to Welwyn Garden City. In 2001/02 Leyton qualified but lost to Bedford and Southend Manor were beaten by Hendon, then, in the 2003/04 2nd Q Round, Burnham Ramblers went out to St Margaretsbury and Enfield Town were beaten in a very close match 0-1 by Carshalton Athletic.

 

So, its two to beat folks - you can do it !!!
