Just like Burnham did when they merged with Hillingdon Borough and got Hillingdons place in the southern league, then after a few years dropped the Hillingdon bit.

And guess what? Hillingdon Borough have reformed.

If we merged i would imagine that both fan bases would be lost- i would support becaonsfield or burnham myself!

I would never support any merged team regardless of who we merged with. This thread is a waste of time and effort. We have a club - concentrate on that.

i would not entertain it all other mergers in sloughs history have been in the local town confines ie slough people with slough people , god merging with windsor would be like marrying your sister very un palatable ugh!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> [color:"black"] [/color]

I just know someone will see marrying and sister in the same sentence and tell a mate and we'll be flooded with Cheshunt fans who will have think we've converted to their way of life!
