Good luck to the British Trio who are all in action this afternoon.

 

Had a long chat with Sniffer over the weekend and he reckons all three should get through the first round easily enough, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for that outcome.

 

My tip is for Murray to do pretty well as this kid is the real deal.

What time is the guy from Harpenden on? Can't see him getting past Mello in all honesty.

Is that Sherwood ? I think Colin said he only gets a wild card at Wimbeldon. At the US Open they all go to our brothers from across the pond.

 

Hopefully he'll (Colin) be about soon and confirm, as I get most of my tennis knowledge from him to be honest.

Don't know why Sue Barker doesn't get him in the studio during Wimbledon fortnight, to be honest. Especially considering his vast media experience.

 

Surely he'd be better suited to punditry than John Lloyd.

Looks like I've overtaken Sniffer Thorns as the board's tennis expert.

Despite throwing up twice, 'The Real Deal' was the only Brit to make it past the first round. What a prospect this kid is.

Which is a shame as another seed fell on his half of the draw and he would of played another unseeded player before geting whacked by Federer, never mind they will lock swords in the Davis Cup later this month.

The 7 points gained though will take Murray into the Top 100.
