Half time score.

0-0

Am told by my brother that we are playing good passing football and have had the majority of the football. Crowd is similar to that of the last home game (so i am told).Missed two good chance by Watson and Braithwaite.

Come on Gate!

FT 0-0, Attendance 1010 (I take it back about the crowd...thats pretty impressive!)

Disappointed about the result. Margate could have scored a couple. Absolutely shattered (how hot was it today!). Everyone seemed to be in good spirits but a lack of singing was noticed!

Good to see high attendance, overwhelmingly Margate supporters.

Hope the supporter who hurt themselves at the start of the first half is OK. I was nearby and it was good to see that the people around him rushed to help make sure was OK while a doctor was found. It wouldnt hurt though to make sure that the message gets through quicker. There was a sizable delay between the event itself and the message getting through the PA system.

The first half was brilliant for Margate. Some great chances to score. Credit to Redbridge for their defensive work. Darren Watson found it very hard in the first half and from where I was standing got a lot of stick for his troubles.

Somebody mentioned a heart attack but I couldnt possibly confirm that. From what I saw he was simply laid out on the floor and was slowly pulled up and rested against the nearby column and watched over. He was fully conscious (sp?) the whole time. I think he fell down and hit his head on the nearby column.

I think its important that we all know what to do in the future so that should anything happen, us forum users can be on the case quickly and get help.

I had a good time there. Good to see your son has caught the chanting bug.

Good idea Porka. Im certain lots of other teams do songs specifically for goals. Why not Margate? Of course someone has to be ready to play music at a moments notice but Im sure it could be organised.

Will somebody please tell me the score - it's way after 7.00 P.M.in Margate now. I see the attendance was good (does nobody in Margate work on Monday afternoons?)

If I don't get the score off the Forum I have to wait for the weekend and get it from the Internation Edition of the Times. Some good person PLEASE.

Redbridge came for a draw and were totally negative ect if they play like that often i hope they get relegated. Also if we cant score against teams like this we will be flirting with relagation. While i was expecting mid table the games ive seen we'll be bottom half. Weve got the crowds now lets get the players.

this is excatly what i was thinking, we got problems and they need fixing, we have played 3 of the worst teams in this division (maldon, Harrow, redbridge) tho we won 1 we drew 2, imo to stand a chance of doing anything in this division these were must win games. so basically we dropd 4 points against very poor teams and really cant afford to keep doing so.
now lets get a natural goal scorer.

I tend to agree with above anom poster.

Those 3 teams must be relegation favourites.

Well done the defence though-again(even though i think we have latent problems there ).

If we continue not too concede, then we will do ok this season

As we all have said, the annoying factor about the game is that we had chances 1st half, and some in 2nd. Yet we didn't convert them, lesson to learn from now, not later!

"Somebody mentioned a heart attack but I couldnt possibly confirm that."

I love the Internet, unfounded scaremongering reigns supreme. No, the person concerned did not have a heart attack. He will live to see the next home game.

Given that we don't score goals, what would be the point! Seriously, I know other clubs do it, but that is no excuse. It's tacky and American.
