Listening to radio kent as i drove around this wonderful planet yesterday,i began to wonder how long the Grave ones up the coast can hold onto the great Ross Smith. Outstanding/awesome were the words used to descibe his performance. How soon will a league club be in for him. How i wish he was still here.Onwards and upwards.

He was awesome yesterday and has been in the three games he played. Played through a head injury yesterday, with a big bandage round his head, and threw himself in the way of everything. Will have bruises the size of British Columbia this morning!

He appears to have improved quite substantially then.

 

I always thought he was good at mfc but not that brilliant.(i.e not in Sodje class)

 

Maybe he was still impaired by lack of fitness following his leg injury last season, as the one thing i would have faulted him on was lack of pace-maybe with full time training he has overcome that ,and wish him well.

 

CK needs to uncover another Smith or Sodje style defender to help us out this season.Kola is promising , and has not put a foot wrong apart from lack of height

Didnt think his pace was that bad in comparison to billy and barnett, thought ross big problem was the fact he couldnt clear a ball it would be quite frustraiting watching him try to clear a ball and watching it roll quite a feeble distance at times.

 

I am glad he is doing well sadly it at Gravesend but still good luck to him you never know we could see him back in a margate shirt one day.
