Oh!And we( Slough )are doing well are we-talk about blinkered.Having seen our 3 games I think we will be relegated as well-good or even semi good sides have a decent defence-we ain't got one sorry! Wasn't it Brian Clough
who said if they don't score then we can't lose.
I have always thought the more you utter the bigger idiot you sound lol!!!

Coiuldn't agree more, Opti! Well, we should listen to Optimistic - he should know, an expert like him. Anybody who won the League Cup with Swindon over the Mighty Arsenal in 1969 must know what he is talking about.

So a bit more respect please for a guy with such a wonderful record, not to mention such an incredible memory for all the Slough teams over the last century. It is an amazing feat to have played for Swindon and managed to attend all the Slough games over the same period, as he has.

So thank you, Optimistic for your wonderful insights into the game, before which we poor fans can only stand back in awe and amazement.

Have you entered the Prediction League? If so,I am sure you will win it outright. But if you haven't, please could you share with us your view of where all the teams will end up so we can marvel at the end of the season and be grateful you kept your fiver in your pocket with the £200 you promised to donate to the club, before you decided, being the realist that you are, what a poor chance we had.

I do hope that you keep coming to matches, so Eddie can continue to receive your wise counsel, although I'm sure you could do the job better yourself. Please, please let Bernard Devine know if you are available for consultancy, we really need it.

Dearest Andrew-I almost laughed (only almost)

Why don't you and your over otimistic friends run the side then ? Oh! I forgot, you would have to know what a quality footballer looked like.As for the Swindon joke-some one really wound you up there !!!!!

Have you ever considered getting an education yourself?

Should I recommend to him some good local nursery schools?

Give him some credit, it can't have been easy admitting that his one tenuous link to credibility has been blown to pieces.

What, surely not - it can't be a joke? And there was me thinking that as a member of that squad, even though you did say, after some prompting, that you were injured that day, and even though you were so ashamed of that you did not want to tell us your name, that you did at least know about football.

Now it turns out you were lying about Swindon and know nothing about football. That is a really disappointing piece of news, quite spoilt my day.

I suppose the £200 was a wind up as well.... some Slough supporter you are turning out to be......

You always have ignored the difficult questions, so let's see if you are as good as you claim to be - go on, give us your prediction league list for this season. I expect you will be too chicken as usual, but it is one last chance for you to salvage any credibility, now you have really let me down.....

Is it true that the closest you ever got to playing was when a shot was mishit into the crowd and the ball hit you on the head in a match versus Wycombe in 1892 and bounced back onto the pitch?

Come off it Opti, even you can't suggest that that is anything other than a half hearted attempt - you claim to be the footy expert, but even the ladies at Tummies Bistro predicted the full league and they know less about football than you are supposed to, but come to think about it........I may be doing them a wrong.

The challenge was your prediction league forecast, AFCW top and Slough in the bottom three - call that a prediction? Sorry, not good enough to restore my faith in your abilities. Come to think of it, do the full league and Ian might even let you have some skin in the game - you could use a fiver out of the £200 you're sitting on.....
