Eton Manor 0 vs 0 Romford (Abandoned after 53mins)

A match totally dominated by the Manor was abandoned after 53mins when Carl Bruce stayed down after a challenge, and once the ambulance crew were on the scene, a suspected broken tibia and fibia was the diagnosis. We at the Manor wish Carl all the best.

 

With regards the match, Eton Manor dominated throughout but were unable to score the all important goal. Carl Prince the Manor Keeper finally touched the ball from a shot after around 42mins of play. The Manor look very strong this year and the squad has players competing for every position which is always good to keep players on their toes. Nice footballl being played as well. On a side note after 3 games so far this year I must say all the officials we've had have been really good. Let's hope it continues.

Luperus,were you at the game? Be honest how poor were Romford? Our Keeper touched the ball 5 times in the 1st half and only once from a shot. We must have had 60% possesion. I'm not being bias mate but if you seriously think Romford were in the game you haven't got a clue. If it had been a boxing match it would have been stopped! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Sorry lads, but when a game is abandoned due to a player suffering a serious injury, discussions on the merits of the football that went before just makes you look like a bunch of heartless knobs. I am sure that is not your intention.

No not knobs just discussing footie. Slightly harsh I think. We feel sorry for Carl but why can't we talk about footie? Luckily its not a serious injury which is why we may be talking about footie again?

Good shout Johnny, noticed the Manor website didn't even mention the score line before the game was abandoned, let alone any reference to the football played, I would guess for the same reason you pointed out.
