Albums on order...

Listening to that Supergrass album has kicked my [****!!****] into gear, so I've just placed the following four albums on order with Amazon...

I'm meant to be getting Hard Fi off Morley for my birthday, I'll take a listen to the BRMC album off you.

The Stands are dross (is was them we saw last year wasn't it?)

The Stands are not dross. You just don't like them because they sing instead of shout.

 

Bottom one is Super Furries - out this week.

SFA album is the dogz bollox!! It's got a real good sound to it - lovely, relaxed and mellow. It's the first album I've bought by them - simply because of all the rave reviews and I like the new single. Will deffo be checking more of their albums out!

Seen them 5 times live, once one of the best gigs I've ever seen, once when they were just too darn stoned to play!

 

The special one was Quadraphonic sound at Cambridge Corn Exchange, must have been about '98.

Is Country Joe crap, then? It was in my Amazon recommendations and kind of appealed at they're part of that San Francisco scene from the late 60s.

Did I mention the cloudy cider at the Six Bells. I went down there after Costello's gathering some weeks back and got really monged.

 

I'm thinking about popping down there again on Sunday if you fancy it.
