According to Kentonline his transfer request has been turned down, so where does that leave us?

An obviously talented and marketable player, either prepared to sort things out and get on with playing or one who will be resentful, and just go through the motions until his current contract runs out and then buggers off for nothing.

The transfer window closes in a weeks time so we would have little time to get a replacement. Probably best to keep him and hope Liam can sort things out. If not, offload him in the January window. (Drury that is, not Liam!)

The only thing that looks like making Drury want to leave is Liam, and their relationship, which doesnt look exactly friendly. If we, the fans, want to keep a quality, skilful and promisng player such as Drury, we need to get behind him and show him he's wanted here at Stonebridge Road. Maybe Daish will then realise that there's more to it than his bad relationship with Drury, look at the bigger picture and realise hes a player who can change a game. Hopefully with that, he'll look at the bigger picture every time instead of deliberately not giving him a game

Considering Liam rates Drury very highly, it's probably a very difficult balancing act not playing him yet at the same time wanting to,if you get my drift.

As a manager he has to show strength when a player steps out of line or becomes dissaffected generally,even though he really values him as a player,it's knowing how to handle each individual player,man-management is, I believe not something you can generally learn, your'e born with it, time will tell if Liam has what it takes to man-manage.

we can only hope they can bury their differences for the overall good of the team and the club,we look far more threatening and creative with Drury playing.
