Ahead of tonight's Premiership clash with Blackburn Rovers, Tottenham defender Erik Edman has branded Robbie Savage "the ugliest player I've ever seen".

Edman said: "What Robbie Savage does on the pitch is not tough but ugly.

"He talks a lot, but everything is a big act.

"Compare Savage to Roy Keane - he's tough and hard, but fair too.

"Last season Keane didn't get a red card. Some people think players have to be aggressive and gets lots of cards to be tough. Keane is proof that you do not."

The more quotes I read from Erik Edman, the more I like him. He was getting well stuck into Rio Ferdinand a couple of weeks back, asking why on earth anyone would need £125,000 a week!

I agree about Savage - he dishes it out, but can't take it. However, Roy keane - fair? My big fat hairy [****!!****]! There's nothing fair about ending a players career and then bragging afterwards that he did it on purpose. I'd love to meet him on his own - stupid f**king c**t!

Tottenham defender Erik Edman has slammed Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand for being greedy.

Edman said: "We are paid very well and have so much. You don't need to earn more than £100,000 per week like Rio Ferdinand. If you're on £100,000 a week already, why do you need another £25,000?

"It's all about having flashy rings, flashy watches and flashy cars. But that's not what life is about. It's wrong for kids to see that sort of thing."

Yeah it was Alfe Inge Haaland.

Whilst I'm not condoning Roy Keene for putting in that tackle on him, you haven't mentioned how Alfe stood over Roy abusing him when he did his cruicate ligament at Elland Road a couple of years prior to that. Surley doing that to a player of Roy Keene's mentality he was asking for trouble ?
