As we didn't have a game this week I thought I would pop over to Maldon and see their Ryman Premier League game against AFC Wimbledon.

A comfortable win for Wimbledon 2-0 but the real story is there must have been about 700 Wimbledon supporters there out of a crowd of about 800!!

 

The sooner they are playing at a higher level the better there are some really great fans there who have swapped going to the likes of Old Trafford and Anfield to the going to the likes of Maldon in order to keep supporting their club.

 

AFC Wimbledon look like they will win the Ryman this season but I have to say their team didnt look half as good as our team's we had in the Ryman. The standard has clearly gone down with the Regional Conference Divisions now in place.

 

Poor old Billercay having to compete with the likes of AFC Wimbledon. Looks like they will have to settle for a play off place again.
