after a pretty dismal first half the urchins set essex alight with a scintillating second half and ended up easy 5-1 winners...a few boots were flying tonight chaps thats for sure but daggsy will give you the match run down...suffice for me to say that it was an excellent second half from our team and the travelling fans as usual made themselves heard....!!!

Decent result tonight. Was tempted to go but Hullbridge isn't the easiest place to get to from Canvey in fact it isn't easy to get to from anywhere!!!

I went there 3 years ago when stevie jones played his first game in an urchin shirt...still had trouble finding it...

nice people and a decent pint...I'll bet they wonder what the fck is going on at this minute as their bar is full of 50 urchins drinking the place dry and singing all songs urchin...

The ground is in the back of beyond. Can't imagine they've had too many three figure crowds apart from when Enfield Town have visited.

Good result for Hornchurch tonight. Well done and good luck in the FA Cup on saturday. Is it really a year almost since you slaughtered Gravesend in the 1st round proper. My goodness, what a difference a year makes, but no matter, you'll soon be back with us. You have a lot of friends at Grays even though the rivalry between us is strong. I like Hornchurch, a proper friendly football club unlike all these jumped up wanna be's around the estuary like Dagenham and Gravesend.
