I thought attendance figures were based on those who had paid through the turnstiles and didn't include the freeloaders?

The attendance figures are of course the number who pay at the turnstiles plus a fixed (as in permanent) figure to cover season ticket holders and guests.

In times past, the chap who used to drive the red tractor declared the 'official' attendance as the number who paid at the turnstile plus the number of STH's plus a fixed number each match to account for visiting officials and guests etc. I believe that there is a complex additional formula applied to cup games ['need to know' basis only, Rob] possibly perfected by Stockport County. I believe that the 22 players and 3 officials are excluded.

 

Those who are, shall we say, 'unauthorised freeloaders', if any of course, would not feature in those calculations.

Its now £3.00 to watch midweek youth football as well ......the leagues who set these prices are completely out of touch with the clubs needs / ideas.....no wonder crowds are continuing to fall at the lower levels of football.

 

Anyway mate, if you wanted to come and see Colney at any time you only have to ask and I will join you up to the newly formed London Colney Supporters Club Committee.
