Going to Staines?

Just a tip for any travellers...when I went there a couple of years ago I almost missed their ground because the entrance is at the side of a big leisure centre. It was not immediately apparent that I was at STFC. (Just to save people driving around and around). They have quite a tidy ground (recently redeveloped).

I was trying to remember if Staines and Margate had met before? Lookforward to seeing you down at our ground on Tuesday.

97/98, FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round. Staines 0 Margate 3. Played at Chertsey on a Friday night. We drew Fulham in the First Round.

 

87/88, FA Trophy. Thanet United (as we were then known) 1 Staines 0.

 

Can't think of any other games.

If I remember rightly the last time we went there the bus arrived late and it was 10 miutes or so gone before we got into the ground. Luckily the score was still 0-0 at the time.Possibly the same game mentioned above.Am pretty sure it was an evening kick-off too.
