I know Leon will probably get all the praise, and i thought he had a very good game. But, personally, I feel Gradley was our best player yesterday - deserved a goal (and nearly had one).

I said I wouldnt comment on individuals performances from yesterday but today is another day.

Having been an admirer of Leons pace but not for his ball skills was pleasantly surprised at his footwork yesterday and to my mind,even without the goal he would have taken some beating in the m.o.t.match award. He made me eat my words yesterday as he was in my mind the one that stood out from all the others.Personnally speaking I didnt feel Gradley was all that much yesterday but am sure he too will soon make me eat my words in time but on the strength of yesterdays performance it was Leon that shone for me.

Watson was knackered with at least 20 minutes to go but I was happy that he was there for the full ninety minutes if only to get the fitness thing going,and it was he that allowed Leon to get the goal by hustlng for the ball at the right moment,though without a goal I might have thought differently on that one. He had many good chances but fluffed them but I will forgive him those as we all know how important he can be as a match winner and in the next game he could well put those chances away. Thought Standen was poor yesterday but lets give him,like all the others time to blend and show their true worths.

Missed the game sadly but a shame Billy Edwards didnt get any votes because of all his dedication and sticking to the club and everything.

Billy Edwards did well on Saturday but Braithwaite was playing so well and of course scored the goal that he had the MOTM in the bag.
