It has now been confirmed. Sandy Ezekiel will be attending along with his new wife. Im asking nicely that all Margate fans treat him nicely. He may have gotten to you with his comments, but for however long he is there, be nice to him - even if it is through gritted teeth. This is a great occasion and any trouble will be remembered by SE and the press and possibly used against the club in the future.

 

When the announcement was made one reaction was about how SE has screwed the club over in the past. Could somebody please, at least for my benefit, say what he did in the past (apart from his recent comments) to cause this trouble?

How dare he turn up to something he doesnt care about and tried to kill off. He taunted the fans by calling them thugs, and now this is a blatent attempt to get people shouting at him. I won't utter a word to him, I won't even call him a prat, but as far as myself is concerned he will always be the man who tried his best to stop the one thing we all wanted.

Agree JK but the one thing we DONT want is for him to think we are thugs and prove him right,I have never known him to attend a game before,so lets make him welcome and show him just what MFC is all about.

Perhaps he does't care about the club as he has never been there before. As said earlier this is our chance to show him what the club is about. If he has a good time, with no abuse, it can only help our cause. This is the fans day so we don't want anybody to spoil it. It's up to the management/Directors to convince SE what an asset we have. Far too much work has been put into the club over past few months.

Tomorrow is about us and our club, the rest is just irrelevant. But who knows, we may convert him? After all, Margate converted me. Until I saw the Blues play for the first time, I absolutely HATED football. And look at me now - verging on the obsessive!

Absolutely right. This is our opporutnity to shpw everyone what this club means to us. I'm assuming he was invited, which must mean KP is up fpr it. That should be good enough for us.

As a staunch opposer of Sandy I would just like to add that I too will be WELCOMING him. YES,welcoming him!

All the comments above I agree with and the post above(2nd up) says it all. Its not about anyone else its about the club and its followers,though coming home again is also a plus point for the community. .I shall be doing my bit to keep stuum, but for the club, and sorry James it wont be for your benefit on this occasion so dont fret,your future prospects with the Tory party will still be intact.

Dont worry guys & gals, I for one wont be upsetting him.It is true that on this occasion we have to convert and not abuse. May even go as far as to shake his hand should the occasion arise. How about that! .(Please dont faint) That will be the best & worst jesture I will give him tomorrow.
