Are we all idiots?

Arsenal might just be able to justify charging £1,825, the most expensive season ticket in the Premiership, by citing market forces - but how can Millwall get away with asking £29 to watch their match with Sheffield Wednesday? Or Bristol Rovers with demanding £415 for a League Two season ticket? Because you let them.

Or £9 at St Albans?

I've probably mentioned my disgust at this before, though.

'Tis all down to greed; the greed of the clubs desparate for success, to be up there with the big boys like Ars*nal, Chelsea and Man U so they have to pay megabucks to managers, players and their agents and play in front of half-empty stadiums. That's why the poor old fan gets charged so much to watch the club he loves, just to keep the club afloat in many cases.

Do you honestly think charging £7 or £8 to watch City would attract many more supporters?

P.S. Is a Real Madrid season ticket REALLY the same price as one for SACFC?

I'm unsure where the guy gets the 200 quid for a season ticket at Real Madrid from. Doing a quick search on google for "real madrid season ticket prices" reveals some pretty hefty prices - especially at

£257 to go and watch Real Madrid play Barcelona on the 20th November 2005 alone! Yeah, this may be a company who effectively acts like a ticket price - but jumping from 200 quid for a ST to 257 for an individual game is a bit much! Maybe the cheap season tickets are only available to a certain section of the spainish population?

They have some bizarre season ticket deals in Spain, they don't involve every game all the time. It costs more to see the big games.

For example, Zeals Spurs tickets could cost £XX for Chelsea, Aresenal, Liverpool etc but he won't get entrance to Wigan, Fulham etc somebody else would have a season ticket in the same seat for them games and it'll cost £xx

I think there's some scheme for a precentage of the local underprivileged population of Madrid which mean they can see games quite cheaply - probably a deal done with the local council. Some games you can get in for 9 euros (about £6). Zag's £275 for a game probably includes two nights in a four-star hotel and flights from the UK.

£9 is a fking joke. If you're happy spending that on a sh*t non-league game of football, then fine.

You're one of a minority of about 320.

That's why our gates will never improve.

You watching Spurs today fella?
