Prediction League - Scoring and Prizes

 

Everyone who has entered the Prediction League has listed what they will think will be the finishing order of the Ryman Premier Division this season.

 

Points are scored based on how far each team is away from the position you've predicted. Simple! So, if you put AFC Wimbledon in 1st and they're in 8th, then you score 7 points and so on. The more accurate your predictions, the lower your score and it's the lowest that wins. In the event of tied scores, places will be determined by the number of correct guesses you have, the more the better - a bit like goal difference.

 

Updated tables showing your current position throughout the season will be printed in the Rebels match day programme. And, to make it even more fun, rather than simply list the scores in 1 to 51 order, it will be split into two divisions so people will be promoted and relegated between the divisions throughout the season as the scores change. That will become clearer when you see the first updated tables!

 

Prize money will be allocated as follows:

 

1st: £60

2nd: £30

3rd: £20

4th: £10

5th: £5

Last: £2.50

I know...I'm stating the obvious.....

 

So the prize money is going to be the top 5 in the top division, and the last place in the second division then. Nothing for the leader of the second division.

Spot on HR, that's exactly how it's going to work! In effect the whole thing is one league but I thought it might be fun to list it as two divisions sems as there's so many entries.
