Hope you are right and he is on his way to us as he is a quality goalkeeper, however with Blake and Dom would Steve Browne sign him? Not sure, but I know he rates him very highly

If there's one thing you can say for sure about Gary, it's that he ain't arrogant. The guy didn't compain once when he was displaced by Hooky at Hendon, he saw the sense in dropping down a division for a while to gain match fitness at Slough, and if you were to actually talk to the guy (rather than yell abuse at him), you'd find out just how nice the guy is.

 

As for "dodgy", he certainly has his moments - as all 'keepers do. Can't really comment on how he's been at Aylesbury since I ain't seen him there, but on reading comments the only problems he's had are a poor defence in front of him (after all, Wheeler conceded 3 today) and a lack of confidence - which is unsuprising.

When he played for us last season, he was very good indeed, and I was disappointed when he didn't join us. Not shure we need another keeper at the moment though.

Whilst he was superb when with us, I can't see him joining us as we gave him the opportunity last season and he turned it down due to our financial situation, and may be wary of signing for exactly the same reasons this season.

 

Hope he does sign though mind, as neither of the current two keepers look particularly special.
