helped out for an hour or so, couldnt stay because of the kids.

 

WOW it looks fantatic, 100 times better than any photo taken.

 

So clean and bright, rreally is a good "base" ready for the new stands ect when the time comes.

We be able to come over around 2pm 2morro, will there be much to do still? No point coming at 2pm, if your all finished by 3 pm !!

Nice to meet you too Stokie. Your help was greatly appreciated and I know it wasnt easy with the kids and all.

Tomorrow there will be a lot of fine-finishing I think, mainly cleaning up here & there, maybe mopping,tidying up etc. Come on now everyone lets give this our last effort.

Its understood that many cant get there tomorrow but please try your utmost as this WILL be the last time,before saturday to have it looking spic & span for those (hopeful) many visitors,council and press that will be attending.

Get there early and you may even get on the telly so it seems.

Yes,i agree with cookie.If memory serves me, did,nt i give you and the family a lift home from tescos Westwood a couple of years ago. if not it was another stoke city supporter from the great M(can't spell it) near deal. Anyway it was nice to see you at Hartsdown today.

Well done annon. We still need more though tomorrow. If only for an hour or two it will all be helpful and worthwhile I think. This is OUR ground. Temporary as it is we should and will feel proud that WE helped get it right for the day. Just this one last push! Then its "Game on".

 

p.s. If you ARE going to the ground in the morning & you have wheels, be warned that you may have to park on the road outside as the parking places inside are having the "white lines" marked out in the morning.
