A big lolly for Arron. Still got some left from the carnival.

Sorry to say ALL wristbands have now gone but because of the massive demand today the club shop will be acquiring some more(not sure if they will be the same though) and will be selling soon.

Another lolly too for FF as he quite rightly pointed out that it was a Ramsgate fan who predicted the score correctly.(As if others couldnt tell for themselves).

Well done the Rams too on a good start!

To show that we are NOT thugs or louts I shook Councillor Ezekiels hand as he passed me and I welcomed him to the ground(that took a lot of doing I can tell you). But though not seeming to be smiling and looking rather in a nervous mood he did remark that we would win today so thanks Sandy, you got something right at last!! (only kidding...I think).

Lets hope he went away realising how much this could have been missed by a lot of people.

Good to hear you put aside your problems with SE for the game yesterday.

What was the chant about Sandy? I couldnt make it out. I got the we hate the tories and the we love labour ones. Does anybody know if SE was there when one person shouted out "I sent that text"?

I thought the poster which Labour put out said lets forget the politics for one day. Thats the only problem I had with yesterdays game.

Good to hear the shop will be getting some more wristbands in. The £1 for under 11s seemed to be popular yesterday and they are bound to want to snap up the new wristbands (and a lot of us probably will too!) so its all money in the coffers.

If someone had said what you said he said then whoever was near that person they should have pointed it out to a steward and have the person evicted from the ground and also permanently barred from the ground. Joke or no joke remarks like that do not help anybody least of all give us a good name.

As for a chant concerning the tories,I didnt hear it but if it was mentioned then in this case I see no problem with that as it is not directed to any single person so could not be taken personally, however having EVENTUALLY got the nod from the council it my have been better to the hold back on comments such as those as council bigwigs were in attendance and it WAS a "special" day after all and we should ALL have been on our best behaviour for this day in order to prove a point that we ARE civilised fans. Unfortunately you will always get ONE person trying to make out he/she is funnier than others and in doing so again does nothing for good of our name.

Proberly no harm done today however but things like this must be stamped out i.m.o.

actually tone it was me and it WAS meant in jest and not said loud enuff for him to hear beside there was a few things shouted yesterday that i had to stop as were not appropriate for the day so if you would like to get me evicted or banned you are within your rights!!!

Besides at least i didnt run on pitch approach a linesman, this sort of thing should be stamped out i.m.o.

All credit to you John for owning up to that and just because you are a very important part of the fanbase dosent mean that you are less likely to have that sanction bestowed on you.It is not in my power to do so in any case. Sometimes ,however hard it may seem personal remarks should be held back for the good of the club and in this case the fans good name bearing in mind the leaders comments in the council chamber,re:thugs. This was and still is a remark that SE made that still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and should be with other fans too, and any kind of inflation of such,I feel should be avoided. Hopefully in this case and as you have so honestly admitted it,and as you say not heard(why say it then),you yourself will think twice about the content that comes out in the future.

As for the linesmans issue,to bring that up is below the belt and has no bearing on the above incident apart from the fact that I too could have had no complaints had I been shown the door and it only defects from the matter we are talking of.

I dont want to fall out with you John over this as you have done more than some for this club lately but

I wont retract my thoughts on this purely because of that input and our friendship.

I am sure that in the future you will hold back on your "funny" remarks as I have done with facing officials.

.

Appreciate you holding your hands up to this one John and that in itself gets a good mark from me and shows that you are a sincere and honest individual & now knowing it was you I can catagorically say that that you meant no malice on this occasion.

As I said and as you mentioned no harm done yesterday(as far as we know) so lets now put this in the background and get on with talking about other matters.

Annon at least John puts a name to his reply whereas you have NO identity therefore unless you unmask yourself I will take your comment as just a way of having an opportunity to have a dig at a person that you ovbiously have a problem with. He is no coward but sadly for you you are!!

I have stated in my above post John that I too could have had no complaints had I been removed either on a temporary basis or on a permanent one but with regards to your immediate post above I am entirely in agreement with you.
