Saturday is nearly upon us, so the "Predictions" post must come up? What does everyone think the score will be on Saturday? I nust admit that i think it may be an anti-climax and we will draw 1-1 - i sincerely hope i am wrong. Any thoughts?

P.s - i'm afraid i wont be able to make the get together before the game - sorry John, Butler, Colin etc. etc.

I also fear a bit of an anti climax.

 

Equally, CK needs to keep Mark Green cool;as he is so good and enthusiastic ,he may just be too exhuberent and end up being sent off, or damaging himself.

 

We need a fully fit Mark grren for the whole if the season

Have to say i agree, can see a draw on the cards will take time for the new players to gel i think we saw alot of that problem in the ramsgate game.

This is a MUST WIN game i.m.o.

Too much to lose, what with the "lost souls" returning not to mention the media and its wide coverage tomorrow,then theres the councillors.We have just got to shine tomorrow else all those attending will drift away again. A good show with a good result will put the cream onto all the effort by so many that has gone into getting here.

My predictions are usually crap,as you know so wont make one but I am more than hopeful of a positive WINNING result to set us up for the rest of the season.

The only drawback is that when we DO seem to get a crowd the team tend to under perform. We have new players now and hopefully that wont occur this time.We do it away from home so we should be doing at home in front of a large audience.Mind you we are a team playing away really for the first game are we not.

We need that win on saturday more than at any other time,though any other time is still important.

Caution 2 the wind I think will B the order of the day, 1st game home & hopefully a nice Attendance will do it on the day.

Thats only too true Graeme,however we have been saying that for a while now and whilst it is a FACT that we are so so happy to be getting back home there will be a time when we can accept that and look to on-field results. I feel that improvement on the field, and that our way back up the pyramid should be also be sought on Saturday together with the celebrations.There will be a time when we can no longer keep saying that we are just glad to get back home and direct out thoughts to that which is happening ON the pitch. Lets face it we have to start winning games at some stage so why not start Saturday.

Maybesome will say "lets just enjoy the day on Saturday for the reason that we are back and now out of the mess we were in" but there are 3 points to be had at the same time and 3 points that could at the end of the season prove to be valuable points to win. So for me its the celebrations up to kick-off & then it will be a focus on getting those 3 points to really give us a good lift off. Im not going there JUST to celebrate but to pick up maximum points too.
