If we can hold the score level for a while tommorow we might grind out a result. The worst possible thing that could happen is Canvey go in front early. That would really sink us I bet.

It won't be an easy game tomorrow. Daish was saying on the BBC site that his players would be up for it and wanting to prove a few people wrong.

 

If we get an early goal then the floodgates could open but that's easier said than done. I certainly think this is the best time to play Gravesend but they're not a bad side and I'm pretty sure once their team gels they'll move up the table and will be quite comfortable in mid table.

 

Hope they don't get it together tomorrow!!!

In an interview with the NLP, Daish states that he wants his players to get more physical. What is the man on? looking at the red & yellow card states it seems to me that his players have gone a long way to achieving that already.

So, our fine Canvey squad, be prepared for some very hard encounters with the Fleet on Saturday, especially that Daish is geeing them up for it being a local derby!!!!

Lets hope the referee has also read the preview of the game in the NLP, keeping a firm eye on any over the top tackling from G & N.
