Spanish side Sevilla have completed the signing of Tottenham striker Fredi Kanoute for £4.4 million with the Mali international agreeing a four-year deal at the club.

Perhap's paving the way for a certain Mr Owen?

What do you think Yids out there?

Rather us than Newcastle

I think something behind the scene's at the magpies is just not right and i can't see him joining a club on the slide.Perhap's a move to upbeat young squad may appeal to him,At least he would play everyweek unlike at Man U.Onwards & Upwards come on u spurs

I think the barcodes are pushing up the Jenas price to fund an owen transfer.

I really can't see why Spurs should go Jenas, on the Owen front, well would love him to join, but think we do need a bigger centre forward. I think Owen and Defoe might be a bit too similar.

This morning in one of the papers it says about Michael Owen going to Wigan for £10million.What a load of rubbish!I think that Spurs will finish higher than Arsenal this year and in the top three. There is a strong squad there now with lots of quality and I think that this could be Spurs year for Champions League football

Dean Ashton is a very good player.

So me and Jol both think that Kanoute was crap, didn't argue with him did you?

Give it a rest, Colin.

You only thought Kanoute was crap because your mate in the West Stand told you so.

And people in the West Stand are notoriously miserable, never get behind the team, and are only looking to moan.

The West Stand is, if you like, the Cola Stand of N17.

Kanoute wasn't crap. Often lazy, and his posture didn't help, but he wasn't crap. And Jol has never said that he was.

the owen thing makes me crack up.. leaving liverpool to get champions league football then them winning it whist he kicks his heels in the resrves in a madrid team that has won fk all since he has been there.. not even their equivalent of the coca cola cup (which is the sangria cup i guess).. and now none of the big three or 'pool want him back.. priceless.. but of course owen can still find in in him to dimiss clubs not up to his level like newcastle or everton.. little prick i hope he ends up at burnley or stoke

Agree. Lazy? definitely but the guy had alot of talent. His dribbling skills were second to none but in his time with the Hammers he was so frustrating. At times he looked so languid but then would produce a moment of sublime skill.

He will do well in Spain.

Actually I made my own opinion of Kanoute but you said that I wasn't allowed one as I don't watch top flight football but as you did you were allowed an opinion, I merely pointed out that a season ticket holder of 25 years shared my opinion so your opinion wasn't universal amoung those who are allowed opinions!

Jol didn't say he was crap but as he wasn't under pressure to sell, the payer never asked for a move and from what we see a replacement hasn't been lined up I think the whole action speaks louder than words senario fit's in here!

Season ticket holder of 25 years? Kanoute was only there two years.

He wasn't crap. He was lazy and at times looked awkward, mainly due to his size. And people who are having a bad game and look awkward, mainly due to their size, are often dismissed as being 'crap' by those who don't know much about the game.

We have four strikers at Spurs, and if reports are to be believed, there will be a fifth before transfer deadline day.
