constructive criticism?

I know we've said this hundreds of times, and sometimes I'm someone who's at fault, but let's try giving the club some constructive criticism instead of just constantly moaning about Daish.

I know we lost 6-1 last night, I was there, but surely there are some positives to draw from it.

Danny Slatter's run through the midfield, and Charlie's chasing of the ball make me feel that we can find the right combination and get out of trouble. I think we need to give Daish more of a chance, I know he had last season, but don't forget that was with a team created by Andy Ford. This team is still trying to gel, and it doesn't help to have Lee Protheroe, Ross Smith and now Aaron Kerr missing from the side.

Substitutions last night were a bit puzzling, as for taking Skins off, and going with 3 up front.

The other thing I have to say is that although there were quite a few fleet fans there last night, when WE scored, the Grays fans were making more noise than we were. Personally, in my opinion, and it is just opinion, we should have been behind the boys more after they scored. It's alright standing there criticising Jay, and James Smith etc, but surely they need us to be supportive towards them, even if they are a goal behind.

Say what you want, but I'm entitled to my opinion and that is what this was.

I agree with you, I do find when we are behind, or play is a midfield battle, the vocals seem to die off. I am guilty of this myself. I will take this on board and even if I look like a burke on the terrace, giving words of encouragement on my own. I will do my best until I am horse.

I feel as fans, FB is right, we should encourage our boys more, just look at the Exeter match. As soon as we went 2 down, there was hardly a peep out of the gravesend fans, and that definately got to the players, who must of felt dejected. So lets get behind them, and cheer on the team. After all its a team game, and the fans, I feel are part of that team.

[color:"red"] ye i agree that its not good for the club but the money could mean that the club get money which could help improve the football standard and then we would all be happy <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/alk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" /> [/color] <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" />
