Has anybody else tried to find any information on our visitors this Saturday. What a crap website. They have no player profiles, no match preview and don't even have a fixtures list. Perhaps its just a ploy so we don't know what we're up against.

i lookd in vain a few weeks back, all i could find was they lost to southend 1-0 and that southend thought they were rough as hell, beat them up well so the report read.

I think Maldon is in Essex. If that helps. Rather anonymous if you ask me. Mind you we were saying that about Braintree, Grays and Thurrock just recently.

I think we have to accept that some of these Clubs (like Maldon) are pretty small so they are not going to have much on websites.

Maldon are a good little club, with a nice compact ground. I have no doubt they will give us a good test on Saturday.

They have done really well to get to Prem standard.

I think it's great we are playing some new teams this year.

Yes Graeme, but I really can't get excited about Staines, ETU, Billericay or Worthing. Hendon and Harrow B can be fitted around my local shopping so thats something in their favour.

Seriously though...Maldon's near neighbours are
Heybridge Swifts - but no love lost between the clubs! Maldon town is about 10 miles east of Chelmsford but has no railway connections so bit difficult getting there other than by car.
Rreckon they will have only a handful of fans travelling to Hartsdown.

Why only a handful of travelling fans,you lot should come down and think you are the first team to play at the NEW HDP,I think you lot that dont make it will miss out,come on you Maldon fans.

Will be there saturday with a maldon player from last year! He has moved down and is my misses cousins partner phew!. Not sure who he will be cheering on but i think he will be heckling his ex team mates!

Hmm, thought the 'CCFC' gave it away I'm not a Maldon fan, Tony. We visit Hartsdown on Nov 5th if not still in the FA Cup. Maldon not noted for
big crowds - av 150 odd last season - so don't hope for too much from 'em....
