Daish out!!!

Everyone gets hammered once in a while - this was Grays' first conference league home game. They were up for it and unfortunately we were on the wrong end of a goal rush. It's time to forgive and forget the past. We played good football against canvey and exeter but some people on here don't seem to care about that they just concentrate on the bad stuff.

Common practice at away games of course - and a refreshing change from some of the comments on offer at home games, as I'm sure those who travel away regularly will agree.

Oh, and lads - don't feed the trolls.

Well, I'm still going to protest, theres usually about eight or nine of us and we're going to go into the seats and sing 'We want Daish Out' for the entire ninety minutes as well as waving banners -that should get noticed. I don't think we'll be the only ones either.

It's idiots like you that ruin our team spirit. You either support the Fleet or you don't. Dickhead.

Ah Mr Daish Out....whilst I respect your right to voice your opinion, and indeed "protest" as you call it...........owing to circumstances beyond my control, I may well be in the seats on Saturday, small as they are ! Be a good fellow and don't come anywhere near me !

Regards,

Anyone else think this ( BBC ) is way over the top for a BBC story...? A couple of anti-manager threads after a 6-1 pasting are probably par for the course on all message boards. Are they going to run with these stories every time a couple of posters disagree with a club's manager?

As I sit in the stand I shall make a point of not going on Saturday. It won't affect the club as I have paid for a season ticket to go and watch football (good or bad)and not listen to morons chanting for 90 minutes Daish out!!! Thanks for the warning. Let us know when you have grown up.

It's all right saying that you want Daish out, but we're not the only team who's going to get a drubbing this season. We may have been the first, but we won't be the last.

You surely cannot call yourselves real gravesend fans if you call for the head of the manager who's worked bl00dy hard close season, and at the end of last season with a team that wasn't his.

Give the team a chance to gel, because once they get the combination right, we'll be flying. Just look at the bottom of the table, who's down there, Aldershot, Crawley, and Scarborough, who, if I remember rightly, were all up top at the end of last season. Do you hear their fans calling mutiny and for the manager's head. NO.

Try getting behin the team on Saturday instead of demoralising the manager and AK, or just don't bother turning up.

I wouldn't worry, Vera. 'Daish Out' is all mouth and no trousers. There won't be even one moron in the stand shouting anything. It'll be like the much-fabled anti-Andy Ford campaign (membership: zero) in The Plough.

Vera, why miss the game on account of this "contributor" who will either not turn up or if he does, will not act in the way threatened? The Fleet need loyal supporters to turn up. It will be a sad day if committed fans feel uneasy and have to stay away because of the actions of a few apparently new renegades.

Not necessarily - it's possible he was just told about said messages by the interviewer.

If I were a manager, I certainly wouldn't run the risk of making myself depressed by trawling through the minefield that is the supporters' message board.

Vera,

Upon reading my earlier post again, it may have been misconstrued in so far that I was cowering in terror and appealing to DO's human side not to pick on old people (!?) like me ! Let me re assure you that this is not the case. You get back in them seats mate. The Fat B'stards will be (hopefully not too ) wedged in them there seats. I'm looking forward to it already !!....and, the Fat Lady of Limbourg may even be in attendance if we can tear "her" away from the Stella's

Onwards and upwards......

Cheers,
