Tend to agree, but maybe if signed Popovic gives us some hope that he may play in defence and we may win the odd header.

 

Maybe the two anothers will be Hillaire and Sacha.

 

I don't think the above team is tooo bad with maybe Popovic or someone else in defence and a different striker.

 

Looks like he's off the scene but i though Nnumbi was promising.

 

 

I'm sure there will be a couple of surprises left -god and bad-and above all hope dean is signed and is fit

I was very impressed with Popovic on saturday until he got that gash & Hilaire showed some neat ball skills too. I would definately like to see Popovic in the back line. Up front the speed of Braithwaite and the skills and height of Watson or the footwork of Hilaire.

On what I have seen of the players my starting line up would be

Mitten

Oates-Popovic-Green

Dean-Keister-Gradley-Kola

Heeroo

Braithewaite-Watson or Hilaire

The only "confirmed" (thanet gazette) signings are MITTEN, OATES, GREEN, EDWARDS, KEISTER, COLO, GRADLEY WATSON and reserve keeper EGAN. We do not know who if any of the other players have been signed whether on contract or non contract basis. If the club has signed any others which I hope they have as we do not have eleven yet then why have they not informed the supporters yet. I am one of many who have made such an enquiry since the Ramsgate game. No reason why we are still being kept in the dark.

From what others have said there were seven players signed on Saturday after the Ramsgate match. There were also 19 players in the team photo at Hartsdown prior to the match. I just think that with everything going on in the planning for saturday this is not one of the clubs main priorities. It also depends if webmaster is available to update the site. It is frustrating as there are a number of people ready to sponsor players, but I'm sur things will be updated soon. Why not send an E-mail direct to the club, they usually reply.

The Club knew that Aaron Barnett had left before Saturday because his name was not included in the short list of players in the Ramsgate programme.

 

I do not think it would be too difficult to add the squad to the site.

 

Now that Vicky has left does anyone know how to do it?

With hindsight ,a 'comemmorative(cant spell) issue'would have been a good idea'

 

I'm sure for this one occasion ,most would have paid £5 for a one off programme-bit late now.

 

However ,point is, if there is a programme being produced, persumably the editor or printers have a good idea of the squad

Heeroo is Maurutian which is vaguely African i think as they play in African Cup.

he is gambian and is a utility player who can play in defence or midfield.

Dont panic cookie,it does say only questions,but agree we must get Popovich or someone of his ilk and height (maybe Kevin Raine can play in defence)
