I feel the need to share the fact that I am probably as excited about this Saturday's game and occasion as I have ever been about a Margate match, and I have been to over 500..... Considering i am forty in two weeks time this may arguably be a little sad, but to coin a phrase, frankly, who cares( B Davies, Olympic hockey final, 1988)

Im looking forward to the game but wont be really excited until I finish work Friday afternoon. From the sounds of it its going to be nice weather too, sunny, 23 degrees. Nice and warm.

Just found out that Im working Saturday morning, until 1pm. Looks like Im going to be late for the pre match gathering. Bit annoyed since I thought I had the day off. Should be able to meet up with you all by about 1.15pm though.

Sorry but it will have to be D.I.Y Confetti this week guys. Lets see plenty of blue & white floating in the air! We can sort the clean up job ourselves if need be later. Saturday has to be a "special". A good team performance and result will go a long way too. We must try and tempt those coming on saturday to come again.Lets hope all this hard worked for publicity isnt in vain. The public know now that we are back home and will be coming to see both the ground and to witness a fair squad and game. They MUST NOT leave disappointed and downhearted. The future attendances will depend on it.
