...but what have we learnt (if anything)?

- Do we need another Centre Mid? Or can Game, Dormer, or Thomas play there for us?

- If we play 2 up front (presumably Hockton and Nathan) who is the best choice for sub? Cuz, Tom, or Ross?

- Has George Lay done enough to earn a starting place?

- Would we be better using Thomas as a Centre back?

Need? Probably not - we've got plenty who can play there...

Judgeing on last season we'll go with 2 strikers on the bench so Cuz and Ross

- Has George Lay done enough to earn a starting place?

He'll get a starting place imho, but he needs to improve his consistency if he's to hang on to it...

We look strong at centre back with Dobbo, Saps and Macca... When everybody's fit Thomas should play in midfield. Whether that's his best position remains to be answered...

Other things we've learnt...
Patterson isn't a left back!
Dobson is a decent prospect at centre back
We look strong up front - Poole is a great prospect if he can get a little bit stronger...
