Something I almost forgot...

In all of the activity today, no-one, including me, has reflected upon the events at the club this morning.

For those of you out there who were unable to be there for the photo shoot:

When we arrived at the club, Hartsdown Road was lined with cars. When we went into the ground we walked past a new fixtures board advertising the date of the next home fixture.

Inside the ground, people were bustling around, all sorts, fans, players, parents of the youth team, club officials. The sun was shining brightly as the youth teams one by one sat for their photos, all in the new kit. The backdrop for the photos was the new stand. All around you could see the new paintwork, new pitch, new buildings, and new hope for our club.

Last of all, the players all ran out onto that lovely green turf in our new kit, and then took their places for their photo. They didn't half look good in it too, Gradually, new photos were taken, the team with the manager and coaches, followed by one with the directors added.

Last but not least, KP called all the fans to come on to the pitch and take our places in a photo with all the other members of the club. I thought that was wonderful.

I can't wait to see it even busier and brighter next week, and how utterly brilliant it is that we have this to look forward to.
