Don't be too down you lot the lads for the best part dominated but were punished for silly mistakes but what else did Exeter create to be truthfull. It's earlky days the lads are getting to know each other and we will get better and better of that I am positive. Just a shame Jimmy's dipping shot in the 2nd half couldn't have dipped just a tiny bit further.

The penalty incident you refer to was not given because the defender very clearly got the ball...if you are refering to the one at the away end goal. From a distance I can understand it would have looked like a cast iron penalty.

However in the 2nd half, it appeared that if you allowed your shirt to be pulled in the penalty box, you were deemed to have fouled Exeter.

I thought bowry had a decent game. Only problem was he didn't use his weight a bit more for their first goal. Oh well onwards and upwards to a new beginning.

So it's not a penalty if the player is forced down in the box, but it's ok for Exeter players to continually dive, both before and after the penalty you were unjustly awarded?

The Exeter fans better get their facts right. Its their players that need goggles and snorkels, as they are the masters of diving. thats how they got that penalty. As for the ref, well how the hell is he still a ref, and the linesman on the terrace side, he must of been one of the coach drivers of the exeter coaches, as he missed nearly everything. Even the ball going out of play in the first half.

After a few days to contemplate the result I have to agree with Chris.

Except for some silly mistakes, Exeter didn't put us under much pressure. Overall the team played well, and a few individuals showed signs of a touch of magic, which bodes well for the rest of the season.
