Welling vs St Albans

Recommended Posts

Still a lot of work to do I'm afraid <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

The defence did not look solid at all (hardly surprising under the cicumstances) - unfortunately this made Babstock 'jumpy' and this caused him to flap about a bit.

The midfield were okay at times but as a defensive unit they left a lot to be desired. Personally I think that Cousins best position is at full back,

Clarke took his goal well and threatened throughout - shame that he has to be so petulant. Hakin huffed and puffed but after the first few minutes didn't really do anything. Both a bit lightweight for getting on the end of crosses.

Don't know how good Welling really are - their robust style certainly had city rattled at times.

Still early days - onward and upward. I expect Sir Lippy will have all under control by Xmas

Lewes' 6-2 victory over Farnborough must be the result of the day in Conference South.
