Is it Championship Manager or Football Manager?

 

Football Manager is made by the people (The Programmers Siga Games) that used to make Championship Manager. They had an argument with the developer Eidos, and now Championship Manager is a dark shadow of Football manager and its former self.

 

I'm sure Jimmy said he was doing Football Manager.

 

So Jimmy does the better game while Mike does the poorer game. Isn't it funny how art sometimes replicates life!

Championship Manager? The Dartford of football management games.

 

I do the research for Sports Interactive who used to do the Champ Manager series but left because Eidos are crap.

The whole research team from Sports Interactive went with them to do the Football Manager series, hence why it's better and the most widely recognised computer management game out there and backed by SEGA.

If you want an amateur game by Champ, if you want the real thing with the real logos and legally obtained data then by FM.

there was a football manager game in the late 90s where you could do a season in under an hour. It was great for people like me who have the attention span of a gnat.

 

You were in charge of everything including pricing the shirts and food etc. By about 2020 the price of burgers was about £20 lol

What about Football Manager with stick men on the ZX Spectrum (look it up kids)? If you pressed the BREAK key, you could hack into the program and change the names to things like Booby Nobson and Gay Wilkins. Amused me as a kid anyway...

Classic games, i could swear there was one were you could set ticket prices to £0 lol. I have only recently got a copy of fm05 but was playing cm00/01. That was quality, no training issues, tactics took 2 mins to set and the season was quick. Aberdeen: European champions season 2008!
