After witnessing some fantastic Urchin displays (On the pitch gooner!) in pre season, I am so looking forward to the coming one!!

 

So to all the staff from Karl to little Tel, From J-lo to Barry Fox, From Sally to Minty on the gate, to all the fans, players, cleaners, chefs, glass collectors, programme sellers, ground staff, Security staff and everyone else connected with the entity that is AFC Hornchurch....I am proud to be part of it!! Roll on Saturday!!!

We had an enjoyable season last year. Hopefully this one will be even better. I am looking forward to some brilliant away days and an enjoyable season in the ESL.

Just one question trigs mate, does W-abbey know we are getting there early and have we checked that their bar is open?

 

I gather that this is not always the case in ESL!

Hmm, now, if we call them and say "can you open your bar early as it's gonna make you lots of money" will they say, "get lost, who do you lot think you are, billy big cheese etc......" A la Romford?

 

I guess that's the gamble we have to take as we will have a coachload of thirsty urchins!!!!

Just to let you guys know that the bar is very basic at Abbey...okay but basic. Good pub five minutes walk down the road called the Sultan..and the barmaids scrub up well too!

The Sultan is about 200 yds up Sewardstone Rd on the left, just past the fire station.
