Isn't the cement factory now run/owned by LaFarge. Fench company who took Blue Circle over.

 

Perhaps it gets a message on their website?

 

Alternatively perhaps he could try the Tourist Information office in Gravesend?

There is an open air museum with a big section on the history of cement somewhere near Arundel in Sussex. Sadly, I have been. Gravesend was featured quite a lot. Apparently the first cement house was in Northfleet.

Certainly is, but maybe there's something in this to appeal to the trainspotter in us all...?

How about a simple guide for visiting fans to take in some of the more surreal (ahem) places of interest that only away travel can offer.

Example - Anyone considering going away to Southport should definitely take the opportunity to travel the short distance from the ground to this little gem of a museum! (Ensure your sound is switched on for this!)
